QA Lead

Description

● Understand the overall project, understand phase-wise requirements

● Involve in requirements gathering, analysis and definition

● Define test planning strategy including:

● Regression strategy, non-functional testing

● Functional testing post integrations customizations

● Staging through lab/test, pre-production, production

● Test automations

● Test across integrations, across phases

● Generate and own User guides for integrations

● Draft and own test plans for various phases/integrations

● Create testing work tasks for phases/integrations

● Task allocation to team members, allocate and manage

● Responsible for quality and timely deliverables

● Coordinate with project manager, other leads and team members to provide optimal solutions

● Rework on test plan for various phases/integrations

● Rework on user guide for various phases/integrations

● Working with product designers and developers at all stages to promote quality

● Work with engineering team, RA team to manage defects/bugs

Requirements

● Bachelor’s Degree (CS, EE), or equivalent experience required

● Master’s Degree, preferred

● 8+ years of industry experience in coding in testing and test methodologies

● Strong in QA process, process definition and execution

● Strong working knowledge on test automation tools for back end/UI

● Strong working knowledge of agile/waterfall SW methodologies

● Strong QA Process

● Task Allocation

● Team Management

● Work experience on one or more Test Automation tools(Cucumber, Postman, test Ng, Selenium)

● Work experience Scripting Language (python)

● Strong written and oral English communication skills

● Process oriented, self-starter, self-motivated individual

● Knowledge of NMS/EMS/OSS is a plus
